Wednesday 30th January 2019 - Ira woke up hoping for a snow day but it was just a bit icy this morning. So he zoomed off to preschool on his bike
Mummy and Daddy got Thomas ready for the day as they were driving up to Cambridge to hand Mummy's thesis in. He's not quite two weeks old so it was a big adventure
They went up to the MRC unit in Cambridge where Mummy has been doing her PhD and baby Thomas met Mummy's supervisors Tim and Caitlin. She printed out two copies of her thesis
And they walked with Thomas in the buggy into Cambridge to get the thesis bound and handed in
Mummy handed in her thesis - 7 years and three babies later. She was very happy and Thomas cheered up as soon as they got out of the cold and went for lunch to celebrate
They went to a restaurant overlooking the river and it was a beautiful day
They got home just in time to pick Clara and Ira up from after school club and Barbara's. Mummy had bought Ira a new snowsuit as his old one was too small. Clara and Ira played in the snowsuits before bed!
Baby Thomas stayed awake for story time and they all listened to Daddy reading the Faraway tree
He enjoyed the story but it was made even better with a cuddle from his sister Clara
What an exciting day
