Friday 12th April 2019 - Today we got up and out early so that we could go on a boat trip from Morston to see the seals at Blakeney point. It was col and windy so Thomas was wrapped up and snuggled in the carrier with Daddy
And Ira even wore a coat for once!
We saw lots of seals from the boat, many different types just lounging around like whiskery slugs of the sea
The boat stopped at Blakeney point for an hour so they all got out to explore. It was very cold but Clara and Ira soon warmed up by running through the sand dunes. Mummy said she thought it looked like they were going on a bear hunt - through the swishy swishy grass
and along the wooden path back to the sea
They found lots of sand which they said was like a giant sand pit and slid down to it
They played in the sand until it was time to run back to the boat
Ira brought half the sand back in his shoes
And Mummy found a big piece of crunchy moss, which Clara decided she'd like to take home
Mummy took this lovely picture of a wind swept Clara on the boat on the way back to Morston
They drove to Wells next the Sea
where they had delicious fish and chips for lunch
Everyone was happy to be in the warm
After finding a play ground to play in, they jumped on a little train
which took them to the beach hut beach
and they played there until they all got too cold and decided to head back to their holiday home
