Monday 12th August 2019 - At mealtimes, Thomas has started banging his hands on the table and shouting when the food doesn't come quickly enough. He also says "num num num" when he's hungry and breakfast hasn't arrived quickly enough!
Daddy went to pick up a car they'd hired for five says and Mummy sat with Clara and Thomas while they waited for him and Ira to come back

They drove to a village on the coast past Rethymno called Georgioupolis, where they went to a taverna for lunch and a game of uno. They had moussaka and shrimps and calamari and a greek salad. It was delicious
Thomas especially enjoyed the moussaka
And a cuddle
They decided to walk out to the Agios Nikolaos Chapel in the sea
The waves came over the rocks, which Ira thought was brilliant
He wasn't scared at all and loved climbing on the rocks and seeing all the crabs appear and then scurry away
When they got inside, they lit a candle each and Clara decided she wanted to write in the guestbook
...about God being very important
What a great adventure
And they were back in time for a play in the pool and a run around at sunset with their friends Isla and Aimee who were going home the next day
Clara was very sad they were leaving but has invited them to her Harry Potter party
