Wednesday 14th August 2019 - Another morning of breakfast and a dip in the pool
Then they went on another adventure in the car to the Melidoni caves
Where Clara and Ira walked round and round and up and down... and learnt about stalactites and stalagmites
Then they took a detour on the way back to look at Ancient Eleutherna - also called Apollonia (Greek: Ἀπολλωνία), which was an ancient city-state in Crete
The view from the top was just beautiful
The took a while to enjoy it and the last of the day's sunshine
Clara and Ira played the Lion king
They all walked a little way along the ridge to see some of the ruins of the city and vowed they would come back before it was time to go home
They all love Crete <3
