Saturday 24th August 2019- Thomas having more fun with Grandad this morning - he loves being helped to stand up. Mummy wonders if he'll end up walking before he crawls!
Clara got some presents to open from Grandma and Grandad (who got her a golden snitch and a Hedwig top), Aunt Melanie (who got her a Gryffindor rucksack and pen) and Aunt Julie (who got her some books and a flower press)
They all sang Happy Birthday and Clara and Ira had a mini caterpillar cake each
They picked Nanny up and went to East Beach
Nanny got Clara a dolly with a basket and knitted outfit, which her and Ira enjoyed playing with
And of course they collected treasure on the beach with Grandad
Nanny seemed to really like spending time with them all
So much so that she gave Thomas a big cuddle and bought Clara and Ira a blue ice lolly which stained their mouths and hands blue!
When they went back to Grandma and Grandad's house, they went for another play in the allotment. Thomas is able to sit up by himself now without falling over
They tried to get Clara's golden snitch flying in the air but it was really tricky. They managed eventually but it worked much better inside, even though it kept crashing into the walls and ceiling!
